Diamond Window Shutters Kent
Electric Window Shutters - Full Automation
Automated or motorised electric shutters are the same as traditional shutters but with an added remote-control option. So, you can control the amount of light that enters the room with the press of a button using our PowerMotion automated shutter device.
PowerMotion is an incredibly easy-to-use motorised shutter system, which controls the shutters via remote control. The device is an optional extra available when you order from Diamond Shutters, making moving your new electric window shutters from open to closed even easier.
PowerMotion electric shutters are perfect for windows that are difficult to reach and rooms with several shutter installations; you’ll have optimal light level control at your fingertips.

The remote control gives you the option of eight pre-programmed louvre positions, which enable you to tilt the louvres at whichever angle you desire. You can close. or open them fully, and all it takes is pressing a button when you want the best view.
There is also a dial to get the precise angle you want with a simple turn. As the dial turns, so do the louvres to your preference. The remote dial has a superb range, and you can use it from any part of the home without hindrance.
A significant advantage of PowerMotion is a manual override. If someone walks into a room and conventionally adjusts the slats, the action will not affect the motor.
If you are worried about the safety of motorised shutters, there is no need for concern.
Built-in jam protection makes PowerMotion a safe choice for homes with young children or curious pets. When closing, if little fingers or paws play around with the shutters, the motor will temporarily disengage to prevent mishaps
The lithium-ion battery has an in-built solar strip to keep your automated shutters working as long as possible.
This solar panel faces out of the window and silently charges the device when the sun is shining, extending the motor’s battery life. The battery is easy to charge via USB, and when fully charged, it lasts about a year
A notable reason for choosing automated shutters is we can fix them to any shutter materials we supply, except for the Java and Portchester ranges.
Adjusting shutters manually is not usually a big deal, but it can be a nuisance if you have an extremely high window, such as a skylight. In such cases, pressing a button is much easier than closing the shutters with a broom handle! Therefore, electric motorised shutters are a plausible option for any window in the home.
It is also very convenient. If you are in the middle of working on a computer project and sunlight starts hitting your screen, you won’t want to disrupt your thought processes. Instead of interrupting your work to get up and adjust all the shutters in the room, with automated shutters, all you need to do is turn the dial, causing you no more inconvenience than clicking your mouse.
PowerMotion offers innovative light control solutions for the home and presents excellent privacy, insulation, and light solutions for even the most remote windows.
